Prompt:  Talk about a time when you had to write a poem, whether it was for an assignment, event, or special occasion. What was the writing process like for you, and were you proud of the finished product? Prompt Response:  I don’t have a time where I wrote a poem, but I think a poem is very similar to an essay so-when I write my essay, the process of it is very long and difficult because I take time to figure out what I want to say, but a poem is meant to have more heart and deep wording to it so I think the process would be a little more trickier then a essay. Summary:   Today in class, we read and discussed the poem “ Constantly Risking Absurdity” By Lawrence Ferlinghet. We also had a worksheet to fill out about it. Reflection:  The poem  Constantly Risking Absurdity, made me think  about how difficult it can be to write a poem and how focus you have to be, like a acrobat doing tricks.
